Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi – Transfer to Aberdare National Park

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by your driver-guide and begin your journey to the Aberdare Ranges. You will arrive in time for lunch at the Aberdare The Ark Lodge, a unique tree-hotel overlooking a waterhole and salt lick that attracts elephants, buffaloes, and various antelope species. In the late afternoon, you will enjoy an evening game viewing experience right from the lodge’s decks as wildlife gathers to drink. Dinner and overnight will be at The Ark Lodge.

Day 2: Aberdare – Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, you will check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a game drive through the park, which is famous for its black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and seasonal flocks of flamingos. You may also spot lions, leopards, and buffaloes. Dinner and overnight will be at your Nakuru lodge

Day 3: Lake Nakuru – Transfer to Masai Mara

Following breakfast, you will depart for Masai Mara National Reserve, driving through the Great Rift Valley and enjoying scenic landscapes along the way. You will arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch. In the late afternoon, you will head out on your first Mara game drive, where you may encounter elephants, zebras, wildebeests, and big cats. Dinner and overnight will be in the Masai Mara.

Day 4: Full Day Game Viewing in Masai Mara

After breakfast, you will spend the entire day exploring the Masai Mara on game drives. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the reserve to give you maximum time in the wild. The day will be devoted to searching for the Big Five, as well as other wildlife such as cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, and hippos along the Mara River. In the evening, you will return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Lake Naivasha – Nairobi – Departure

After breakfast, you will check out and drive back to Nairobi, arriving in time for your international departure flight from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or drop-off at your Nairobi hotel.

Cancellation policy

Safari invoice cancellation  charges  for both Kenya & Tanzania Safaris.

  • Cancellation  up to 60 days prior to commencement of the safari: Zero  cancellation charges.
  • Cancellation  up to 35 days prior to commencement of the safari : 25% cancellation charges
  • Cancellation  up to 15 days prior to commencement of the safari : 50% cancellation charges
  • Cancellation  less than 14 days or more than 7 days prior to safari start : 75% cancellation charges
  • Cancellation  7 days or less before commencement of  safari – Zero refund, 100% cancellation charges apply.
  • Refunds due to you in the event of safari cancellation can only be credited to the original credit / debit card used in making of initial payment, if within 6-months of refund payment.
  • In the event of a cancellation, please be advised that a 5% administrative fee will be levied to account for transaction charges.
