Amboseli National Park, located in southern Kenya near the Tanzanian border, is one of the country’s most iconic safari destinations. The park is world-famous for its spectacular backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro—the highest peak in Africa—and its thriving elephant population often seen at remarkably close range.
Spanning about 392 square kilometers, Amboseli offers a mix of open plains, swamps, acacia woodlands, and seasonal lakes, creating habitats for a wide variety of wildlife. Visitors can encounter lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and over 400 bird species. Amboseli is also known for its incredible photography opportunities and enriching cultural experiences with the local Maasai people.Lake Nakuru National Park, found in the foot of the great rift valley has an elevation of 1754 meters above sea level, is home to stunning flocks of lesser and Greater Flamingos, which literally turn the lake-shores in to a magnificent pink stretch. This is the only park you are asured of seeing the rhinos in black and white and the Rothschild Giraffe.

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by your professional driver-guide. You will set off on a scenic drive of approximately 4 to 5 hours, covering about 240 kilometers. Along the way, admire the changing landscapes of rural Kenya and the expansive plains of Kajiado County. Upon arrival at Amboseli, you will be welcomed at your lodge with a refreshing drink and check in just in time for lunch. After some rest, set out for your first afternoon game drive. With Mount Kilimanjaro towering in the background, you’ll explore Amboseli’s rich wildlife, including elephants, lions, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and numerous bird species. In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Amboseli

After an early breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive that takes you deep into Amboseli’s diverse landscapes. From the vast open plains to the lush swamps sustained by underground rivers from Kilimanjaro, this is the best way to fully immerse yourself in the park’s unique ecosystem. Amboseli’s swamps attract large herds of elephants, creating some of the most iconic wildlife scenes in Africa. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a scenic spot within the park, surrounded by the sounds of the wild. The full-day drive maximizes your chances of spotting lions, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes, wildebeests, and a wide variety of birdlife including flamingos and crowned cranes Later in the afternoon, return to your lodge to unwind and freshen up before dinner. Guests may also opt for a visit to a traditional Maasai village (optional, at an extra cost) to experience cultural practices and dances. Overnight stay at your lodge

Day 3: Amboseli – Nairobi

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before checking out. You will then begin your drive back to Nairobi, where you will be dropped at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your memorable Amboseli safari.

Safari invoice cancellation  charges  for both Kenya & Tanzania Safaris.

  • Cancellation  up to 60 days prior to commencement of the safari: Zero  cancellation charges.
  • Cancellation  up to 35 days prior to commencement of the safari : 25% cancellation charges
  • Cancellation  up to 15 days prior to commencement of the safari : 50% cancellation charges
  • Cancellation  less than 14 days or more than 7 days prior to safari start : 75% cancellation charges
  • Cancellation  7 days or less before commencement of  safari – Zero refund, 100% cancellation charges apply.
  • Refunds due to you in the event of safari cancellation can only be credited to the original credit / debit card used in making of initial payment, if within 6-months of refund payment.
  • In the event of a cancellation, please be advised that a 5% administrative fee will be levied to account for transaction charges.
