Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

Your journey begins early in the morning with a scenic drive from Nairobi through the Great Rift Valley, where you will have a chance to enjoy breathtaking views of the escarpment before continuing toward Narok, the gateway town to the Masai Mara. After a short break, the drive continues across the picturesque plains until you arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch. After settling in and a brief rest, you will set out on your first game drive in the reserve. The afternoon game drive gives you a chance to immerse yourself in the Mara’s rich wildlife. You may encounter elephants roaming the plains, prides of lions resting under the acacia trees, or cheetahs scanning the horizon for prey. As the day winds down, you will witness the golden African sunset over the savannah before returning to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Masai Mara – Nairobi

The day begins with an early morning game drive when the light is perfect for photography and the animals are most active. This is often the best time to spot predators such as lions and hyenas returning from a night’s hunt or to witness the magical sunrise spreading across the plains. After the drive, you will return to your camp or lodge for a hearty breakfast before checking out. With unforgettable memories and perhaps some last glimpses of wildlife along the way, you will depart the Masai Mara for the return journey to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon.

Cancellation policy

Safari invoice cancellation  charges  for both Kenya & Tanzania Safaris.

  • Cancellation  up to 60 days prior to commencement of the safari: Zero  cancellation charges.
  • Cancellation  up to 35 days prior to commencement of the safari : 25% cancellation charges
  • Cancellation  up to 15 days prior to commencement of the safari : 50% cancellation charges
  • Cancellation  less than 14 days or more than 7 days prior to safari start : 75% cancellation charges
  • Cancellation  7 days or less before commencement of  safari – Zero refund, 100% cancellation charges apply.
  • Refunds due to you in the event of safari cancellation can only be credited to the original credit / debit card used in making of initial payment, if within 6-months of refund payment.
  • In the event of a cancellation, please be advised that a 5% administrative fee will be levied to account for transaction charges.
